Description:

This kind of sunflower fascinated me because there is one large single sunflower head and many small heads all on one main stalk! I started drawing and painting them simply from an attractive design standpoint using strong, clear colors. Later when I completed the painting. I used bright colors and contrasting soft and hard edge paint applications of watercolors and acrylics for this subject.
